About Us With ACCLAIM Disco, you get a choice of 6 very experienced DJs each with their own area of expertise. All of our DJs are fully trained, insured and all use the latest sound and lighting equipment. Sarah With eight years experience of planning and hosting events and parties, Sarah has all the necessary skills to make your special occasion run smoothly. She has wide ranging musical tastes and great people skills that she will use to make your guests feel at ease and happy. Jamie With 12 years experience of working as a DJ in a wide variety of venues, Jamie has the ability to read a crowd and play the right kind of music for all tastes and age ranges. Having also been involved with live television and radio broadcasting for five years he has valuable “live event” skills which he will apply to your event to ensure that it is of the highest quality. Craig An experienced club and mobile DJ, Craig originally started his DJ career in the nightclubs of the Greek islands of Kavos and Rhodes. Since returning to the UK in the early 1990s, Craig has gained a huge amount of experience on the mobile DJ circuit. Craig is an excellent compere who has the rare ability to put people at ease so that they can completely relax and enjoy themselves. Richard Richard is a DJ of vast experience who has played at a huge number of parties and events. As well as playing in bars and hotels, he has also provided entertainment for large events at military bases and university campuses. Richard has gained a valuable knowledge of 'what works' to keep a crowd happy and he can use this to keep your guests dancing and enjoying themselves. As ACCLAIM DISCO'S technical director, Richard also uses his sound and light technical expertise to keep our shows looking and sounding fantastic. Jim With 15 years DJ experience, Jim has amassed a huge knowledge of music and an enviable music collection. Jim is a very versatile DJ who feels just as at ease whether he's performing at a classy wedding or a energetic school leavers party. Jim's passion for all genres of music means that he'll be able to keep all your guests happy no matter how wide ranging their ages or tastes. John An outgoing and personable DJ, John has the knack of instantly building a rapport with a crowd. As well as having an excellent knowledge of the latest chart sounds, he also has a fantastic knowledge of every decade right back until the 1940s. John has provided entertainment a huge range of functions from 21st birthday parties to tea dances and university balls. John is also our children's party specialist. |
